Visit to Claire and Eamons new House

As we had a family day together today it was great to be invited round for brunch at Claire and Eamons new flat which we hadnt seen yet. Brunch is about the perfect time to visit people as little man is much happier in the morning after his long night time sleep. As the day goes on you're never quite surewhat sorta mood he's gonna be in. As it happened today he didnt have his usual morning nap and was pretty groachy in the car on the way to Claires only to peacefully fall asleep just as we pulled up to Claires front door. So then the decision was to let him sleep on so he was in a good mood or to take him inside for him to wake in a bad mood?????

So steph dropped me off at Claires and went for a drive to nowhere to let him sleep for 15- 20 mins. After a hour and a half of chatting and drinking coffee Claire and I decided we should phone and find where they had got to. Turns out they were sitting outside in the car still waiting for him to wake up.

But enough was enough he we brought him inside anyway. He woke in a good mood as planned and had a great time nosing around Claires house and smiling and laughing at everyone. It was also a good insight into parenthood for claire as he managed to be a little bit sick over her nice dress.

Claire very kindly made of a really nice brunch and we chatted for ages about life and her plans for decorating etc. It feels now like a little bit of normal life can resume again.
